The Pedro Muñoz Seca Foundation celebrates International Theatre Day (March 27 every year) by organizing various events: parades, plays on the streets or in local theatres and the reading of the International Theatre Day Manifesto.
On an amusing note, the statue of Muñoz Seca, located in the Isaac Peral Square in the heart of the city center, dons a hat similar to the one worn by the figure of Don Mendo housed in the playwright’s House-Museum.
